'BULLET GIRLS PHANTASIA' Game Characters, D3 Video on YouTube

D3 Publisher has published a video for its Bullet Girls Phantasia PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita game on Monday. The video features game character Merina Iris, introducing herself as a "virtual Youtuber" in the style of the virtual Youtuber Kizuna Ai, before proceeding to introduce the game's characters and gameplay features.

Bullet Girls series have eight members of Misakimori Academy's Ranger Club are suddenly transported to another world during training.

The usual range of weapons makes a return as well as fanservice elements like clothing damage and interrogation training.

Two new characters from the new setting, Silvia and Sarria specialise in the use of swords and magic respectively.

The third entry in the Bullet Girls series, now set in the fantasy-inspired setting of Midgard. Monsters including the common slime and the mighty orc can be taken down by spells, blades, firearms and tanks.

The game will ship in Japan on August 9. H2 Interactive will publish the game with an English and Traditional Chinese localization in Asia on August 9.

The game is the newest installment in the Bullet Girls game franchise, and was originally slated for a release in Japan this spring. The new game will take place in a fantasy world, but will retain the military action of the previous games.

The Bullet Girls game allows players to play as one of a number of high school girl characters in a school's Ranger Club. The characters wield a variety of firearms and military vehicles while going on a number of missions. The game allows players to see the damage in the clothing of both their characters and the characters they fight in combat.

D3 Publisher released the first game on the PS Vita in August 2014, and released the Bullet Girls 2 sequel on PS Vita in April 2016.
