Let’s list up all the leaked information in a single list.
OnePlus 7: Specs & Features Leaked Till Now
The next OnePlus smartphone is going to bid the notch a goodbye. The company introduced a first-generation wide notch with OnePlus 6 back in May 2018. Later the company launched OnePlus 6T with a shorter water drop notch on top in November last year.
But with OnePlus 7, the company will finally be getting rid of the notch to achieve a higher screen to body ratio.
Inspired by its sister companies, OnePlus 7 will use the same design as smartphones like Vivo V15 Pro or Oppo F11 Pro.
To offer a higher screen to body ratio and an panoramic viewing experience, OnePlus is going to put a pop-up selfie camera to make room for more screen. The company will come with a full-screen 6.5-inch Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display, without any notch, with an expected screen to body ratio over 93 percent.
Coming to the design language, it’s going to be a glass sandwich body with cut-outs at the bottom housing the USB Type-C port, loudspeaker grill, the primary microphone.
OnePlus 7 may have the SIM tray at the bottom according to a latest render.
There’s no rear-facing fingerprint scanner as well. So, OnePlus 7 will include an in-display fingerprint scanner, the technology already available on OnePlus 6T.
OnePlus 7 will have the alert slider, volume and the power buttons at the same location as the OnePlus 6T.
Pop-Up Selfie Camera, Triple Rear Cameras & Other Specs
The smartphone will come with a vertically-aligned triple rear camera setup. The smartphone will feature the Sony IMX 586 48MP sensor along with a ultra wide lens and telephoto lens. On top the smartphone will come with a pop-up selfie motorized camera.
It may feature the same 32MP shooter from the Vivo smartphone.
The OnePlus 7 base model will come with at least 6GB of RAM, with upto as high as 12GB for the top model.
All the OnePlus 7 models will be powered by the current Qualcomm flagship SoC, the 7nm octa-core Snapdragon 855 processor. The device will be backed by a larger 4,000mAh battery supported by ultra fast Warp Charge technology.
OnePlus 7 will come with Android 9 Pie with OxygenOS, with expected priority access to Android Q beta version.
In spite of Snapdragon 855, it won’t feature 5G connectivity. OnePlus has another smartphone in the pipeline which will support the high-speed 5G network.
To sum up, the OnePlus 7 will have a full-view display without any notch and a thin bottom. The first time features are going to be a pop-up selfie camera and a rear three camera setup.
